DESCRIPTION:The EMF European trade union conference on labour migratio
 n will provide an opportunity to consider the trade union response to 
 current European Union policies. National examples as well as sector r
 elated cases will be presented and the challenges for trade unions whe
 n organising migrant workers will be also discussed.\n\nIt is foreseen
  at the conference to elaborate a joint declaration on labour migratio
 n. This event will contribute towards an increased awareness of the im
 pacts of labour migration among metalworking trade unions. It will als
 o help to ensure that there is a strong focus on this issue in the EMF
  as well as those of affiliated unions.
