An international drawing contest aimed at combatting forced labour was launched by the NGO Human Resources Without Borders (HRWB) in partnership with the Malaysian NGO Tenaganita. The outcome: an uncompromising collection of drawings, often harsh, sometimes violent, reflecting the toughness of a reality that should not be hidden or toned down.

Forced labour affects most of the 20 million migrant workers around the world. An international drawing contest aimed at combatting forced labour, supervised by the French cartoonist Plantu, was launched by the NGO Human Resources Without Borders (HRWB) in partnership with the Malaysian NGO Tenaganita.

It met with great success: around 120 artists from 47 countries from around the world took part, offering a total of 315 drawings. The drawings, in all their diversity, reveal all the sensitivities and the enormous complexity and ambiguity of the reality.
