Four unions, one researcher/activist, an NGO and a social enterprise: the Hye Sung Workers Union, DEU-Independent, United Workers of Keyrin Electronics, Marianne Lind, NXP Manufacturing Workers Union Thailand, Labour Action China (LAC) and The Restart Project have now joined our network.

The GoodElectronics Network welcomes several new members! Four unions, one researcher/activist, an NGO and a social enterprise:  Hye Sung Workers Union, DEU-Independent, United Workers of Keyrin Electronics, Marianne Lind, NXP Manufacturing Workers Union Thailand, Labour Action China (LAC) and The Restart Project have now joined our network. 

Hye Sung Workers Union
An all-women workers union in an electronics company in the Cavite Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) in Rosario, Cavite, the Philippines. Their company is a subsidiary of HS Techvic from Korea.

DEU-Independent
DEU-Independent is a labour union at Daeduck located in the Cavite Export Processing Zone.

United Workers of Keyrin Electronics
United Workers of Keyrin Electronics (Nagkakaisang Manggagawa ng Keyrin Electronics) is a union at Keyrin Electronics Phils.

Marianne Lind
Junior researcher for educational technology at University of Tartu, Estonia. She gives education in sustainability and the environment. Recently, she launched a Facebook page about her campaign for more sustainable electronics.

NXP Manufacturing Workers Union Thailand
Represents over 2,300 workers at NXP Semiconductors Thailand Co., Ltd.

LAC - Labour Action China
Founded in 2005, Labour Action China (LAC) is a Hong Kong-based labour organisation focusing on social justice and labour rights in the People’s Republic of China. LAC is specialised in assisting victims of occupational diseases. Their three major aspects of work include research, advocacy and campaign.

The Restart Project
The Restart Project is a London-based social enterprise that encourages and empowers people to use their electronics longer, by sharing repair and maintenance skills. Their vision is more broadly to "fix our relationship with electronics", promoting greater well-being and sustainability.
