Today, the Good Electronics network responded to Samsung’s apology to US-based consumers and investors in an open letter calling on the newly appointed Vice Chairman Mr. Jae-Yong Lee to show the same concern for Samsung’s South Korean workers who are seriously ill or have died due to exposure to chemicals from making Samsung’s smartphones and other electronic devices.

In this letter Alejandro Gonzalez, Coordinator of the GoodElectronics Network, asks Mr. Lee to use his new position to act with the same urgency the company showed its Galaxy Note 7 customers and right the wrongs of his predecessor to ensure that Samsung’s manufacturing process is made safe for its workers manufacturing electronics.
