Procure IT Fair has developed a buyers guide for public purchasers on how to include social criteria in the process of public procurement. The guide was first published in German in May 2009 and then translated into English. Adapted versions have come out in five other languages with references to the respective national contexts of Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary and the Netherlands.

ProcureITfair is a coalition of NGOs from various European countries that intend to raise awareness on the working conditions and environmental pollution in the production of computers and asks politicians and public purchasers to use their (buying) powers to demand compliance with international labour rights and ecological standards in the global supply chain of computers.
