The Global Dialogue Forum on the Adaptability of Companies to Deal with Fluctuating Demands and the Incidence of Temporary and Other Forms of Employment in Electronics was held at the International Labour Office in Geneva from 9 to 11 December 2014.

The Global Dialogue Forum on the Adaptability of Companies to Deal with Fluctuating Demands and the Incidence of Temporary and Other Forms of Employment in Electronics was held at the International Labour Office in Geneva from 9 to 11 December 2014.

The purpose of the forum was for tripartite participants to assess the reasons for companies to choose temporary and other forms of employment, as well as the impact of these forms of employment on the enterprise and the workers. The forum was attended by 49 participants, including 28 government representatives and advisers from 18 member States, as well as ten worker and seven employer participants, and four observers from intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).

The forum adopted points of consensus.
