The U.S. non-profit organisation Green America is inviting people to sign their open letter to Samsung’s management, to tell them to stop poisoning workers and to protect their workers’ rights.
Green America cites cases of work-related diseases identified by GoodElectronics’ member SHARPS to show the urgent need to improve working conditions for Samsung’s factory workers. Even though the struggle for better safety and labour standards has been going on for a long time, Samsung has not developed an effective strategy to protect its workers.
