In the context of its 'Waste Prevention' Project, INFORM focuses on Extended Producer Responsibility. INFORM has carried out a cell Phone Recycling Survey, through which interested consumers can find out how well wireless service providers are following the law.

Moreover, INFORM is providing consumers and other interested parties through E-Waste Legislation Watch, a targeted feed covering e-waste legislation at the state and federal level, as well as articles on global approaches to the issue.
