National (Mexican) Coalition of Workers and Ex Workers of the Electronic Industry (CETIEN)
The
Coalicion de Extrabajadores y Trabajadores de la Industria Electrónica Nacional (CETIEN), or the National (Mexican) Coalition of Workers and Ex-Workers of the Electronic Industry, is an organisation settled in Guadalajara, México; it has around 100 active members in the cities of Reynosa, Mexicali, Tijuana and Guadalajara. Some other workers are in the process of joining.
All the members of the CETIEN are workers or ex workers of the electronic industry. Our mission is the defense of the human labour rights of all workers within this industry. Our objective is to improve the working conditions of the national electronic industry with the force and unity of our organization and the support of our allies in México and other countries.
Our vision is to become a strong Coalition of workers, recognized at the national and the international level; an organization monitoring and defending the human labour rights in companies of the electronic industry.
