Pro Ethical Trade Finland
Pro Ethical Trade Finland (Eettisen kaupan puolesta ry) is a politically and ideologically non-aligned NGO whose mission is to promote fair and ecologically sustainable world trade.
At the core of the activities of Pro Ethical Trade Finland lie the local groups already operating in more than ten towns. Various civic activities include the arranging of study groups, tasting stalls and different campaigns, in addition to which Pro Ethical Trade Finland has arranged concerts, photo exhibitions and seminars. Pro Ethical Trade Finland also organises national training and cooperative events for its members and for anyone else who is interested.
Pro Ethical Trade Finland cooperates closely with the Association for Promoting Fairtrade in Finland, and other current partners include SASK (Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland), FinnWatch, Changemaker (youth network of FinnChurchAid FCA), Nature League (Luonto-Liitto), Attac (the civic movement “Association for the Taxation of Financial Transactions to Aid Citizens”), Friends of the Earth Finland (Maan ystävät), Youth Academy (Nuorten Akatemia) and ViSiO (Green Study Centre).
