The basis for the human rights criteria of ASN Bank is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), adopted and proclaimed in 1948, and the related international standards. With regard to the responsibilities of companies, ASN Bank specifically refers to the ‘Norms on the Responsibilities of Transnational Corporations and Other Business Companies with Regard to Human Rights’ (the ‘Norms’, based on UDHR), issued in 2003 by the UN Subcommittee for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights.
