A social responsibility action plan for mining in China

The China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemical Importers & Exporters (CCCMC) has presented a draft for a Social Responsibility Action Plan for the Chinese Outbound Mining Investment Industry for 2016-2018.The goals of the plan are described in the draft:

“Through the scientific and systematic promotion to implement the Guidelines, we aim to strengthen exchanges and dialogues with stakeholders, improve social responsibility awareness and capability for Chinese outbound mining investment enterprises, establish a responsible operation mode, boost sustainable development for China’s outbound mining investment and help to implement “One Belt and One Road” initiative.”
