The GoodElectronics Network is pleased to publish its 2017 Anuual Report, detailing important activities conducted by its members throughout the year.
In fact, this was yet another eventful year for the Network, its members and project partners. Who continued to advocate for human rights, empower workers, increase consumer awareness and collaborate with the electronics industry to build sustainable practices. We are proud to highlight some of these achievements in this report.
Yet, this year was especially important for The GoodElectronics Network as in October members and partner organisations met at the Network’s Annual Meeting in Batam. Here, representatives from 45 different organisations met, including workers unions, NGOs and research institutions. This provided an opportunity to present trends in the electronics industry and reflect on the previous year’s activities, but it also enabled the Network to collectively discuss strategic options for 2018 and beyond (summarised in in the 2017 Annual Conference Report).
