GoodElectronics Thailand (GET) organized a one-day social media workshop training in Bangkok on September 17, which was attended by 14 workers from affiliated member organizations. The purpose of the workshop was to empower workers and increase their bargaining power, by enabling them to communicate more effectively, both among rank-and-file members and to the general public.
This event was the third workshop in a series of several types of social media trainings, comprising of writing, reporting, photography and video which participants learned hands-on practice by several cases. For this workshop, workers learned how to use Adobe Photoshop to produce newsletters, posters and leaflets, which turned out to be quite satisfactory for the beginners. GoodElectronics Thailand plans to organize the last workshop of the series this November.
