We are happy to announce that a new member has recently joined the GoodElectronics network. Collectif Ethique sur l’étiquette is a French collective of French civil society organizations and experts who are committed to improving labour rights in the supply chains of globalized sectors, including the electronics sector.

Collectif Ethique sur l’étiquette was founded in 1995. Through solidarity and advocacy actions, they aim to improve companies’ compliance with international labour rights in labour-intensive sectors such as the garment, electronics and toys sectors. The collective’s actions include the documentation of labour rights violations, advocacy towards brands and public authorities, campaigning and the mobilization of citizens, and participation in the public debate.

While their focus has been on the textile sector, Collectif Ethique sur l’étiquette is looking to broaden their activities by joining the GoodElectronics network. As a member, they will be able to share the work they have done in France on binding legislation with respect to due diligence.
