Monitoring in China’s Electronics Industry
In this report, ILRF and BHRE (with financial support from GE) identify key components for how monitoring of working conditions in China’s electronics industry could be designed to be more responsive to labor rights groups’ visions for change.
Analysis draws on perspectives from a range of studies, including consultations with representatives from thirteen Chinese labor rights organizations, which are working closely with migrant workers in China’s export manufacturing industries and input from Electronics Watch, the main non-profit independent monitoring organization dedicated to protecting the rights of electronics workers in public procurement supply chains.
