The International Centre for Trade Union Rights (ICTUR) has been mapping trade unions to illustrate the diversity of organised labour across the world. Their work highlights the specific political, economic and legal context of Trade Unions as key elementes to understanding why restrictions on freedom of association exist and how they can be overcome.
