Frame of reference of the South Asia Forum on Responsible Business (SAFoRB). SAFoRB is a group of civil society organizations (CSOs) in South Asia. In their view, a responsible enterprise is one which minimises the negative impact and maximises the positive impact of its operations to protect human rights of stakeholders within its sphere of influence and on the environment. To achieve this, we believe a Responsible Business must integrate a set ‘Basic Principles’, in its core business strategy, described in the publication.
