Taiwanese organisations including the Taiwan Labor Information and Education Association (TLIEA), the National Federation of Independent Trade Unions (NAFITU), the WINTEK bargaining team, Solidarity Union and Youth Labor Union 95 have started a campaign in support of workers fired by WINTEK. TLIEA is member of GoodElectronics and of the Asian Transnational Corporations Network ATNC. Wintek's buyers, including Apple, have been addressed, as well as the Taiwanese governement. Workers are fighting for reinstatement and for reform of the working conditions.
