RankaBrand ranks 19 electronics brands: bulk of brands get low scores

Rankabrand has compared and ranked 19 electronics brands like Apple, Dell, HP, HTC, Huawei, Nintendo, Samsung. The questions used for ranking are categorised into three areas: Labour Conditions and Human Rights, Climate Change, and Ecology. Rankabrand awarded 15 brands with a meager “D” or a “E” label. Just Three brands, Asus, Apple and HP, received a “C” label. Fairphone received a “B” label.

Rankabrand has compared and ranked 19 electronics brands, including Apple, Dell, HP, HTC, Huawei, Nintendo, Samsung. The research is based on publicly available policy documents, reports and information provided by the brands. Ranking criteria are categorised into three areas: Labour Conditions and Human Rights, Climate Change, and Ecology. Rankabrand awarded 15 brands with a meager “D” or a “E” label. Just three brands, Asus, Apple and HP, received a “C” label. Social enterprise Fairphone stands out with a “B” label.  Huawei, HTC, ZTE and Nintendo are the worst performers.
